How long does it take to print and deliver books printed in China?
The entire process of printing in China typically takes four to six weeks once the final files have been approved for production. Shipping and importation can take another four to eight weeks depending on the final destination.
What type of printing quality should I expect?
Our printers are top-of-the-line models with expert craftspeople running them. You should expect books of the highest quality on par with printers anywhere in the world.
What certifications does the printer have?
All of our books are manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001, meaning the printer has passed audits to verify the quality performance of management systems and all aspects of production and production management. Our printers are party to the SEDEX code of ethics and are Disney FAMA certified.
What type of ink do you use?
Our printer uses vegetable and soy-based inks with lower levels of VOCs than oil-based inks to reduce carbon emission.
Is shipping included in the quote?
Yes, we provide quotations “DDP” meaning all costs associated with shipping, importation, customs fees and final delivery to your door are included in the quotation. If you wish to handle shipping yourself, please inform us so we can provide a quotation for printing only.
Can you provide book samples to check for quality?
Yes we would be happy to send you printed samples similar to the book you are working on. We can also send you a “dummy” with the exact specifications of your book: the dimensions, paper type and cover for you to see and feel what it will look like before proceeding with your print run.
How is the payment process?
We require a 50% deposit on total production costs at the start of the project upon signing a work agreement. The remaining balance is payable upon approval of the advance proof. Once the final payment is made including any additional costs, the books will be shipped out.
